A New position has opened for an experienced "Simulation Support Engineering Manager" located at RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering operational management of the training centre containing 1 Operational flight simulator, some electronic classrooms and briefing / debriefing rooms and a rear crew trainer. The candidate will also be responsible for the first line management of a team of 6 technicians and will be required to meet all performance availability requirements laid down by the customer to ensure the training equipment is available to meet the training need. The successful candidate will also be required to integrate and work with various customers and users Position Responsibilities: Manage employees performing engineering activities within the E7 Training Centre and their 1 to 1 general performance. Oversee maintenance of and upgrades to all training equipment within the E7 training centre Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements as required. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, Stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes and provide technical guidance to resolve engineering issues. Ensure safe operation of the equipment and a safe working environment.
