About the Opportunity
Hinkley Point C (HPC) is the first new nuclear power station in the UK in over 20 years. The Senior Cost Engineer will act as an expert of the Cost and Forecasting team, ensuring implementation of processes and framework, reporting, and managing contracts ranging in value from £10m to £500m.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the face of Cost and Forecasting management within the nominated Programme/Area.
* Produce and maintain accurate cost and forecasting aligned with CBS/WBS.
* Model effective collaboration across organisational boundaries and embody HPC values.
* Ensure maintenance of all Cost and Forecasting data within the software system (e.g., EcoSys, SAP).
* Deliver Cost and Forecasting reports on the defined cycle, providing commentary on key drivers and performance.
Education, Experience and Skills
* Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in project management, project controls, engineering, or related field.
* Experience in a Project Management environment.
* Understanding of project controls methodologies and techniques.
* High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of outputs and data quality.
* Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated experience in a project controls discipline.
