Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paralegal with asset management experience to join our Managed Legal Services team, working alongside colleagues in our Property group.
The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for:
1. Draft, review and negotiate asset management documents including leases, licences, variations and surrenders, extensions, consents and other property documents
2. Support the management of leases tracking key dates, handling renewals and terminations, and maintaining compliance with lease terms
3. Assist with due diligence for property transactions, collecting and organising documents to facilitate risk assessment and compliance reviews
4. Support the wider client service team in ensuring compliance across client's asset management portfolio
5. Maintain organised matter management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for client team and client’s use
6. Provide informal support to junior paralegals, sharing knowledge and helping develop best practices in document handling and portfolio asset management
7. Act as a liaison within the client service team and client’s in-house legal, estates and operational team helping to facilitate excellent communication and document flow as required
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
8. Previous Paralegal experience or equivalent specialising in property asset management
9. Experience of working in a large commercial law firm and understanding of the levels of service delivery required
10. Experience in using legal technology solutions and platforms to deliver excellent client service
