Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Manage client and office account transactions in compliance with relevant regulations.
* Ensure accurate processing of payments, receipts, and transfers.
* Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular updates to the finance team.
* Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
* Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
* Handle queries from clients and colleagues regarding financial matters.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role within professional services.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cashiering practices.
* Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
