Job Summary (part time)We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. Duties
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting Pegasus Opera 3 software.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
* Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review
* Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
* Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
* Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents and records
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
* Proficiency in accounting software Pegasus Opera 3 or similar.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
