Expert are working in partnership with this Eglinton based Client who have been established for over 40 years. Prominent within the Engineering industry, they offer a range of engineering services providing end to end solutions in Design, Fabrication and Installation. They serve a wide range of industries including Biopharma, Data Centres, Food and Beverage, Power Generation and Pharmaceutical, and have completed projects throughout Europe. They are currently seeking to recruit an an experienced Steel Detailer with a strong background in structural drawings for mechanical-type projects. They are looking for a skilled professional to join their growing team, bringing their expertise in AutoCAD and Tekla (or similar detailing software) to help deliver precision and quality across our projects. Key Responsibilities: Create accurate 2D and 3D structural steel drawings using AutoCAD and Tekla (or equivalent). Interpret engineering and architectural plans to produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and quality requirements. Assist in the revision and checking of drawings prior to release. Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience producing structural steel drawings in a mechanical or industrial setting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla (or similar steel detailing software). Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and connection detailing. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
