ARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced
Electrical Site Supervisor
to oversee commercial projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
This role is well-suited to a qualified electrician with proven site supervision experience, who can lead teams, manage workloads, and ensure electrical installations and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate electrical works on commercial projects.
* Lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality of work.
* Oversee installations, testing, and maintenance to meet industry regulations and company standards.
* Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure site health & safety compliance.
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of works.
* Provide technical support and guidance to electricians on site.
* Monitor progress against project plans, reporting back on performance and any issues.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
* City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671).
* Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
* Previous experience supervising teams on commercial projects.
* Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
* Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and resolve on-site challenges.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
