As an Assistant Ranger apprentice, you will be working as a member of the rangering team as they conserve the environment that makes the countryside both distinctive and special and help take care of our protected landscapes. Can lead to an assistant ranger or ranger role and potentially move to a L4 Countryside Ranger apprenticeship after additional experience gained in role. As part of the apprenticeship, you will be working on the Freshwater Renaissance programme. Freshwater Renaissance is a 2-year, multi-catchment programme of work aiming to restore a functioning network of biodiverse and climate resilient freshwater habitats. The programme is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies.
