The Role:
They offer high quality affordable extended childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will be responsible for the overall running of your assigned playroom in the nursery, which includes delivering and maintaining high quality care that stimulates children and supports their personal development. The role also involves supervising other staff, sharing professional knowledge to improve practices, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.

What we need from you:
We are looking for practitioners who are positive, passionate, and enthusiastic about childcare. If you are a dependable, caring, and collaborative individual who can build close relationships with children and their families, we want to hear from you.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Educated to level 3 or above with a recognised professional qualification in early years education or equivalent
* Experience in providing care and play activities for children from birth to 5 years in a nursery or similar setting
* Proven organisational skills and experience leading a small team
* Knowledge of current legislation and best practices
Additionally, you should be flexible, resourceful, and committed to delivering first-class childcare. All staff and volunteers are expected to demonstrate their commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
Successful applicants will need to meet the criteria for registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and the Scottish Social Services Council.
