Quality Engineer / Quality Technician

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality professional to support and continuously improve our Quality Management System. This is a hands-on role, working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded across all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards, ensuring full compliance
* Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), logging incidents, corrective actions, and improvements
* Carry out quality inspections using a range of precision measuring and gauging equipment
* Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Monitor, report, and drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Support production teams with a hands-on approach, working closely with operators on the shop floor
* Contribute to and implement training procedures and quality processes
* Complete PPAP documentation up to Level 3, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Lead and support 8D problem-solving activities and root cause analysis
* Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of CNC turning and milling processes
About You:
* Experienced in Quality within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and QMS systems
* Confident working with engineering drawings and inspection tools
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
* A hands-on, team-focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement
