Van Driver - Recycling & Confidential Waste Collections
Monday to Friday | 06:00 - 14:45 | £14.75 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our recycling and confidential waste collection team.
This role involves driving a company van to customer sites to collect bagged waste, wheelie bins, and other forms of confidential waste materials. Due to the nature of the work, there will be regular walking and manual handling involved throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving a company van to scheduled collection points
* Collecting and loading bagged waste, wheelie bins, and confidential waste materials
* Ensuring all collections are completed safely and efficiently
* Following company procedures for handling confidential materials
* Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the van
* Providing professional customer service at collection sites
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling and walking involved
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
* Successful DBS check required due to the confidential nature of the materials handled
