My client is a civil engineering and construction contractor. They're looking to onboard a Project Manager to help deliver a civils scheme within the tunneling sector. The scope of works you'll be responsible for overseeing will include tunneling and reinforced concrete works.
Project Manager responsibilities
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
* Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
* Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
* Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure contingency strategies.
* Ensure that construction activities meet design specifications, standards, and regulations.
* Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
* Ensure all work complies with national regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.
* Manage contracts, evaluate claims, negotiate changes, and ensure obligations are met.
* Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and communicate updates to clients and senior management.
Project Manager requirements

* First Aid
* Full UK driving license
* Previous experience within the Tunneling sector
