The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at Guardian Electrical Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all electrical systems are fully compliant with industry standards and safety regulations. You will use your expertise to identify potential hazards, document non-compliance issues, and provide actionable recommendations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
* Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
* Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
* Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
* Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
* Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
Qualifications Required:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
* City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
* NVQ Level 3 Qualification
* IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
* Valid UK driving licence.
Additional Job Details:
* Position Type: Permanent, Full Time (Available Immediately)
* Salary Range: £47,437 - £49,686 base salary (With travel pay included, total annual earnings range from £55k to £77k)
* Location: Cambridge
* Annual Leave: 22 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
