Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Edmonton from September on a temporary basis.
This Maths Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. The successful Maths Teacher will join a supportive department and play a key role in raising attainment and fostering a love of mathematics across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress
• Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student achievement
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole-school objectives
• Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for all students
• Be able to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
