Purpose
The Technical Working Chargehand reports to the Mechanical Supervisor. Meet site safety standards.
Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP as well as
the requirements of cross contamination prevention. Deliver mechanical maintenance activities,
ultimately ensuring manufacturing performance.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Key Accountabilities
n Deputise for the Mechanical Supervisor when absent, i.e. day to day management of the mechanical maintenance team, including but not limited to:
n Assigning work packages. n Progress chasing.
n Managing priorities and arising maintenance requirements from operational areas.
n Ensuring work is closed out within the maintenance management system n Timekeeping, holidays, disciplinary matters.
n First call for arising technical issues for mechanical team during daily activities.
n Develop advanced maintenance practices within the mechanical team, i.e. condition monitoring. n Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
n Expectation is that the role is 50% maintenance task delivery, 50% enhanced duties.

Management n Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental standards are maintained throughout the delivery of work. n LTAs/accident rate/sickness rate within the mechanical group.
