Location: Exceptional Care Ltd, The Malthouse Business Centre, 48 Southport Road, Preston
Role: Children's Home Registered Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000 (Total reward package). Welcome Bonus £5,000 (on completion of probation & OFSTED registration acceptance). Occupancy Bonus – paid monthly, up to £5,000 pa – based on occupancy/quality. Plus a further £5,000 longevity reward after 3 years of service.
Hours: Mon - Friday 9am to 5pm

Exceptional Care offers development opportunities to all managers to progress to Senior Manager level. Exceptional Care is a therapeutic children’s service providing care and support to children and young people aged 8-17 from complex backgrounds, who display challenging behaviour and EBD, an independent social care organisation with multiple residential units across the North West of England. We’re seeking a talented Children\'s Registered Home Manager to join us on our journey, based at one of our Children\'s Homes in Preston.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a home in Preston, developing and supporting a team to create a loving, stable environment and to help each child achieve positive outcomes and learning experiences; maintain consistent communication with children and families and with multidisciplinary teams; ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
Required Minimum Criteria
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting dealing with children with complex needs at senior level (you could be an outstanding Deputy Manager looking for progression)
* Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
* Level 5 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
* Previous Ofsted rating of GOOD or Outstanding
Skills and Qualifications
* NVQ L3 / L4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce
* UK Driving Licence
