Qualifications
* Registered NMC General Nurse
* Educated to Degree level (or equivalent level of training, education, or experience)
* Part 3 Registered Occupational Health Specialist Nurse Qualification/Working towards (or equivalent level of training, education or experience)
* Immunisation Training
* Venepuncture Expansion of Practice
Desirable criteria
* Management /Leadership Qualification (or equivalent experience)
* NEBOSH/IOSH Qualification
* Chain of Custody Training
* Audiometry Training /Spirometry Training, Experience of working within an NHS occupational health setting at Band 6
* Experience of supervising and supporting a junior clinical team with day-to-day matters
* Experience of supporting workplace physical and mental health
* Experience and knowledge of basic clinical audit process
* Operational Experience of using eOPAS/G2
Skills Essential criteria
* IT proficient in using Microsoft packages and clinical systems
* Demonstrates positive leadership behaviours to motivate, supervise and support the junior clinical and administration team
* Flexible and able to respond to changing situations and manage potentially distressing and sensitive situations, encounter healthcare workers who may have complex physical and/mental health issues or have been exposed to occupational exposures/incidents
* Good self-awareness and self-care /compassion strategies in order to be able to address complex multi- dimensional issues (as above) and provide support to the team in a professional and compassionate way.
* Clinical expertise in venepuncture, administration of vaccinations, Mantoux testing, Management of Contamination injuries, management and health surveillance screening including healthcare workers living with a bloodborne virus.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening)

* Presentation skills to be able to deliver informal and formal teaching or to present information
