Role: Locum Pharmacist (Mental Health) Banding: 7 Location: Wickford Start Date: ASAP (within 2 weeks) Duration: Minimum 3 months, with potential for extension Hours: Full-time Rate: £23 - £29 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist specializing in Mental Health to join our team in Essex. We are open to considering Band 6 candidates with relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: You will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to mental health patients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal medication management. You will conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice on psychotropic medications. You will support and educate healthcare staff on mental health pharmacotherapy. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Requirements: Education and Qualifications: GPhC Registered. 1 year pre-registration training. Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC. Previous NHS hospital experience inclusive of clinical pharmacy practice. Relevant experience in mental health settings preferred; hospital experience will be considered. Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
