Join a prominent UK-based FMCG company as a Senior Brand Manager, where you'll lead the strategy and execution for one of the company's flagship brands. This role offers the opportunity to drive brand growth through integrated marketing campaigns, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive 5-year growth strategy for the flagship brand.
* Create and execute annual brand plans that align with overall business objectives and profit targets.
* Lead and mentor a direct report, fostering professional development and high performance.
* Plan, monitor, and execute brand activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
* Engage internal stakeholders and external partners to secure buy-in and support for brand initiatives.
* Manage relationships with agencies across advertising, packaging, PR, digital, and media buying.
* Utilize consumer and market insights to inform brand planning and decision-making.
* Monitor brand performance metrics and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed.
* Drive innovation by developing and launching new products, collaborating closely with R&D and insights teams.
* Ensure excellence in market execution for all brand activities and product launches.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent; marketing qualifications preferred.
* Significant experience in FMCG brand management, ideally within a structured marketing environment.
* Proven track record in integrated marketing communications, brand planning, and new product development.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
* Excellent communication and influencing abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* High proficiency in data analysis and strategic thinking.
* Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and effective project management.
Key Stakeholders:
* Internal: Senior leadership, marketing, R&D, sales, category management, customer marketing, manufacturing, legal, and quality assurance teams.
* External: Agencies specializing in advertising, packaging, PR, digital, media buying, and research.
