Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to start as soon as possible on a social housing scheme in South Birmingham.
Role details
The position involves working on a range of tasks, including:
* Central heating installations and gas maintenance services
* Day to day repairs/maintenance, short duration service, renewal or refurbishment works to properties and void properties.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and communicate additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Manager.
Key information
* £24-£25 per hour
* 6 weeks but could be extended to March
* Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Requirements
* Experience in a Gas Engineering role
* GAS Safe Registration
* CCN1, CEN1 current gas accreditation's
* Full UK Driving License
* Maximum of 5 points on driving licence
* Own tools
* Preferably with experience in social housing
* Able to provide 2 work references
Desirable Criteria
* HTR1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1 current gas accreditation's
* CSCS HAPS Test Certificate + CSCS Skills card
* C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Heating Engineering and/or plumbing or NVQ certificate.
