Your new role:
Join a growing consultancypany who are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Manager for this role in Northwich. This full-time role involves handling all aspects of finance, from routine daily tasks to quarterly financial administration and trial balance. Hours: Full-time ( hours per week), with part-time options for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Ledger: Raise sales invoices, issue customer statements, and manage credit control.
2. Purchase Ledger: Process and pay purchase invoices, reconcile statements.
3. Weekly Bank Reconciliation
4. Cash Flow Maintenance
5. Monthly Payroll Preparation: Experience with full payroll processing is advantageous.
6. Staff Expenses: Process and pay monthly staff expenses.
7. Pension Administration: Understand Salary Sacrifice regulations, upload monthly contributions, and manage pension changes.
8. VAT Processing: Submit and pay VAT.
9. Assist Financial Controller: Support with month-end and year-end tasks.
10. Prompt Email Handling
11. Cover Colleague’s Workload: During busy periods and leave.
Requirements:
12. Essential: Strong finance knowledge and experience covering most of the above.
13. Desirable: Familiarity with Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office (training provided).
14. Potential for Growth: Opportunity to learn and contribute to monthly management accounts.
15. Highly Organised: Ability to manage changing priorities.
