3. Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimise tax efficiency within the property sector.
5. Manage VAT compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
6. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related matters.
7. Support audits and liaise with external advisors and tax authorities as needed.
8. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
9. Assist in the development of internal tax policies and procedures.
10. Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
11. Part Qualified in accounting or taxation (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent).
12. Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations, particularly within the property industry.
13. Proven ability to prepare and review corporate tax and VAT returns with high accuracy.
14. Previous experience in VAT Property.
15. Strong excel skills.
16. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
17. Experience in liaising with tax authorities and external advisors.
18. Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
