YouTube Operations Manager (Remote) — Systems, KPIs, SOPs, Team Management
Overview
We run multiple YouTube channels (faceless content). We're looking for an Operational Manager who treats this like their own business (intrapreneur mindset), moves fast, and holds extremely high standards for anything he or she does.
This is not a "do what you're told" role. You will be responsible for turning chaos into a machine: planning, execution, tracking, quality control, and team accountability.
What you'll own
•Manage the full production pipeline (topic → script → edit → thumbnail → upload → QA)
•Create and enforce SOPs (standard operating procedures) for every recurring process
•Build and manage KPIs and reporting (weekly performance + production metrics)
•Ensure deadlines are hit; chase deliverables; remove blockers fast
•Quality control on outputs (scripts, edits, thumbnails, uploads)
•Manage freelancers (editors, writers, thumbnail designers): feedback, performance, consistency
•Keep everything organized in trackers (Notion/Sheets/Trello/ClickUp—your choice, if it works)
What we're looking for
You are:
•An intrapreneur: you think in systems, not tasks
•A workaholic / high-output person (you enjoy building and grinding)
•Someone who sets the highest standards and refuses to ship "average"
•Extremely organized and proactive (you don't wait to be told)
•Comfortable confronting people on performance (respectful but direct)
Required skills
•Experience managing workflows or teams (agency, content production, operations, project mgmt)
•Strong understanding of:
•SOPs and documentation
•KPIs (production + performance)
•Project management tools (Drive/Trello/Sheets)
•Strong English communication (written + voice)
•Reliable internet + availability for daily check-ins
Nice to have
•YouTube automation / faceless channel experience
•Experience with editors/writers/thumbnail teams
•Understanding of CTR/AVD/Retention basics
Hours / Availability
•Remote, long-term
•Must be highly available and responsive
•Daily updates required
Compensation
Compensation is determined on the value you bring. When starting off, we'll make sure you can make your ends meet. When (you make) the company grows, you'll salary will grow accordingly, or exponentially.
How to apply (important)
Start your application with: "OPS MACHINE" so we know you read this.
Then include:
1.Your relevant experience + tools you've used (Notion, Sheets, Trello, etc.)
2.A short example of a SOP you've made (or how you'd structure one)
3.Your availability (hours/day + timezone)
4.A brief description of how you manage underperformers on a team

•Personality profile form
•IQ test
