With a £multi-billion turnover and multi-site operations throughout the UK, this business is rapidly transforming the way it sources and delivers quality food & beverage products to improve guest experience, drive sustainability, and support future growth.
They seek a competent Food & Beverages Procurement hire to take responsibility for a broad portfolio of their F&B spend from strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation to category strategy and cross-functional collaboration due to an influx of projects and their continual expansion.
If you possess category experience across fresh produce, chilled, ambient, protein or frozen etc within a hospitality, foodservice, or retail grocery environment then this could be great option for you!
They are offering up to £60k + 15% bonus and Hybrid working based in Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies across food & beverage categories.
2. Lead negotiations, supplier selection, and contracting to deliver commercial value.
3. Partner with Supply Chain & Technical teams to ensure food safety, quality, and supply continuity.
4. Build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to maximise value and innovation.
5. Support simplification, cost control, and category growth initiatives.
Required Experience:
6. Proven procurement / category management experience in Food & Beverage.
7. Strong understanding of food product specs, allergen compliance, and supply chain risk.
8. Sector background in hospitality, hotel, foodservice, contract catering, or grocery retail.
9. Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and project management skills.
10. A commercial, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented approach.
