The Role
Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) is a global team providing advisory and assurance services on strategic, financial, operational, technology, and compliance risks. The Senior Audit Consultant leads end-to-end reviews of complex business processes and controls, providing independent assessments and insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
The responsibilities include:
1. Developing audit plans and scopes for complex reviews.
2. Conducting walkthroughs to understand processes and identify risks.
3. Performing testing, data analysis, and benchmarking.
4. Identifying issues and opportunities for operational improvements.
5. Preparing audit reports and communicating findings.
6. Leading meetings and presenting to management.
7. Managing project progress, including budgeting and milestones.
This role is classified as CUK08 on a fixed-term 9-month contract, requiring at least three days in our Southampton office, with travel involved for ship visits, global partner meetings, and conferences.
About You
We value fresh ideas and diverse perspectives. To succeed, you should have:
* A relevant bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting or business) and/or professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA).
* Experience with a management consulting firm or large internal audit department, ideally within the Big 4.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong project, time, and organizational management skills.
* Experience conducting internal and/or external audits.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
