Job Description

We recognize the value of having people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and skills in our business. The role requirements outlined here are guidelines, not a checklist. If you have more, less, or different relevant experiences, we encourage you to apply.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work and time in our Southampton office, to promote a healthy work-life balance. We are open to discussing reduced hours and job share options.

The Role

Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) is a global team providing advisory and assurance services on strategic, financial, operational, technology, and compliance risks. The Senior Audit Consultant leads end-to-end reviews of complex business processes and controls, providing independent assessments and insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

The responsibilities include:

1. Developing audit plans and scopes for complex reviews.
2. Conducting walkthroughs to understand processes and identify risks.
3. Performing testing, data analysis, and benchmarking.
4. Identifying issues and opportunities for operational improvements.
5. Preparing audit reports and communicating findings.
6. Leading meetings and presenting to management.
7. Managing project progress, including budgeting and milestones.

This role is classified as CUK08 on a fixed-term 9-month contract, requiring at least three days in our Southampton office, with travel involved for ship visits, global partner meetings, and conferences.

About You

We value fresh ideas and diverse perspectives. To succeed, you should have:

* A relevant bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting or business) and/or professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA).
* Experience with a management consulting firm or large internal audit department, ideally within the Big 4.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong project, time, and organizational management skills.
* Experience conducting internal and/or external audits.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Benefits

As part of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, including:

* A welcoming environment and support during onboarding.
* Hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office.
* Regular events, learning opportunities, and employee networks.
* Performance bonuses, generous leave, and holiday trading.
* Discounted cruises, pension schemes, private healthcare, and more.

Note: Due to high application volumes, we may close the vacancy early and cannot consider late applications.
