Behaviour Mentor – Full Time
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, long-term
A specialist provision in Oldham is seeking to appoint a full-time Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional support with behaviour, engagement and emotional development.
This role is particularly suited to someone who has experience working with young people in challenging environments and is confident managing behaviour in a structured and consistent way.
The Role
You will work closely with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups, supporting them to develop positive behaviours and re-engage with learning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils to manage behaviour and emotions
* Implementing behaviour strategies and routines
* Acting as a consistent and positive role model
* Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured time
* Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience within SEMH, PRU, youth work or similar settings
* Confident and resilient approach
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build trust and rapport
* Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
