Job responsibilities

* Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
* Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and raise any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act in a courteous way toward residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About you

Essential skills and attributes
* Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrated initiative and respect toward residents and colleagues.
* Efficient worker, capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.
* Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check (cost will be met by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
