PIB Insurance Brokers | Part of PIB Group The Role – Claims Handler Our Claims team at PIB Insurance Brokers in Liverpool are looking for an experienced Cross-Claims Handler to join their team in providing top-class service to all clients. What you’ll be doing: Managing the end-to-end claims process, from initial notification and investigation through to fair settlement, in line with policy terms and company guidelines. Communicating clearly with customers and other parties, providing updates, resolving queries, and delivering a high standard of service. Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, including fraud identification and data protection. Liaising with third parties and experts as needed to assess losses and negotiate timely, appropriate settlements. What we’re looking for: Robust experience in managing complex cross-class claims, with strong technical and analytical skills, and a solid knowledge of the insurance market, policy terms and coverage is essential for this role. Holding relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Cert CII), or working towards this, is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders and seek guidance from senior colleagues when needed. High attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. What you'll get: A salary package of around £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
