SEND Teaching Assistant £425-£500 per week depending on experience Connex Education are seeking an experienced SENDTeaching Assistant to work in a maintained Special School in Bolton, greater Manchester for children with a wide variety of complex educational needs. About the School: Outstanding provider of holistic education for pupils ages 4-11 years. Pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Pupils have a range of additional needs such as Autism, Severe learning difficulty, Profound and multiple learning difficulties Assignment details: The hours are 8.30 to 3.30/4pm Monday-Friday 5 days a week, looking for regular on going supply from October You will be providing learning support to children ages 4-11 years old with Autism, Severe learning difficulty, Profound and multiple learning difficulties. Previous experienced working in similar roles is desirable Person specification: Excellent communication skills, Empathetic and Patient, being self-regulated and calm. With a positive supportive attitude. Understanding and experience supporting individuals with Autism, Severe learning difficulty, Profound and multiple learning difficulties Experienced supporting individuals with Learning disabilities and/or complex needs Experience of supporting children and young people struggle to manage their emotions, behaviour, and relationships, which can impact their learning and overall well-being. Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs. Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team. Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
