We are seeking a proactive Cost of Living Support Officer to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents facing financial hardship. This role is vital in helping individuals access essential resources, manage financial challenges, and build long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored advice to reduce financial hardship.
* Support residents in sustaining affordable housing.
* Maximise household income and reduce financial risks.
* Provide pathways to debt management and budgeting support.
* Manage your own appointments and conduct site visits.
* Build and maintain a portfolio of partner organisations.
* Liaise with external agencies to enhance support networks.
What We're Looking For
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload.
* Strong organisational skills and initiative.
* Experience in providing advice, guidance, or support services.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing support, or financial inclusion.
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals or communities.
* Familiarity with multi-agency working and partnership development.
