A multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their London team. The building surveyor will work on a mix of projects including new build, refurbishments, maintenance, and alterations. The building surveyor will deliver surveys, prepare reports, and advise clients on actions required.This role is ideal for a building surveyor looking to broaden their experience and take ownership of projects in a supportive team environment.

The Assistant Building Surveyor will work alongside an experienced team, contributing to project delivery across London and expanding their skills in both project management and professional surveying services.
The RoleAs the building surveyor you will work alongside senior colleagues to support project delivery. The role will include:
* Undertaking building surveys, producing reports and recommendations
* Managing project documentation, budgets, and programmes
* Coordinating with design teams and contractors
* Undertaking contract administration
* Supporting professional services including condition surveys, measured surveys, and dilapidations
The Assistant Building Surveyor?You will be a motivated and committed individual with a background in building surveying. Applications from candidates without construction-related experience will not be considered.
The Assistant Building Surveyor must have:
* A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant property discipline
* Experience in professional services or project management
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with clients
* Confidence working in multidisciplinary teams
* Awareness of industry standards and current practices
