About Dunnock View
Located in the seaside town of Clacton-on-Sea, Dunnock View is a specialist mental health service that provides care for adults (men and women) with complex psychiatric conditions, including treatment-resistant psychosis, mood disorders, and co-occurring conditions. The service offers a safe, therapeutic environment where patients can rebuild their lives and work toward independence.
Your Role
As a Clinical Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in the psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention for service users. You’ll work closely with the MDT (including psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, and support workers) to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and therapies
* Contribute to MDT case formulations and care planning
* Supervise and support assistant psychologists and trainees
* Deliver staff training and reflective practice
* Support service development through audits and research initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (or eligible for registration)
* Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
* Excellent communication and team working skills
* Commitment to recovery-oriented practice
* Compassionate, resilient, and motivated to make a difference
