Clinical Support Worker AMU
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Clinical Support Worker for the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Cumberland Infirmary. The unit specializes in acute medicine and manages a diverse range of medical patients, including cardiology, respiratory, gastroenterology, elderly care, renal, oncology, and haematology.
Responsibilities
* Support the registered nursing team in providing the fundamentals of patient care.
* Assist patients from a wide range of specialties, ensuring timely and appropriate support.
* Undertake the Care Certificate to enhance clinical knowledge and care quality.
* Work days, nights, and weekends as required to meet patient needs.
Essential Criteria
* Holder of a Care Certificate, or a willingness and ability to obtain one.
Working Hours
Rotational shifts covering days, nights, and weekends.

Sponsorship
Due to recent UK immigration policy changes, individuals requiring a Health and Care Visa or a Skilled Worker Visa may not be eligible for sponsorship if the UKVI salary threshold is not met or if the occupation is not listed on the Immigration Salary List. Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)
Successful candidates must provide DBS clearance. The cost is deducted from salary as follows:
* Standard Check: £27.40 (over 4 months).
* Enhanced Check: £55.40 (over 4 months).
