Job Summary What’s your favourite agile approach? Scrum, Kanban, Lean or something else? This is not a traditional project management role, we’re looking for a passionate Agile Delivery Managers, who have experience of delivering software in an agile environment, to lead and enable a multi-disciplinary team through multiple phases. Our multidisciplinary teams and our delivery managers work on stuff that impacts some of the most vulnerable people in society and we’re looking for people who are as motivated by that unique purpose as we are! We have many exciting opportunities for you to join us at DWP Digital, you will join a flourishing, supportive agile community delivering some of the largest digital transformations in Europe. The role involves working in Bereavement & Care as an Agile Delivery Manager. The area comprises around 100 professionals committed to supporting citizens via digital services during key life events. As a member of this community, you will be accountable for one of seven teams, playing an active part both within your team and as a contributor to the broader delivery community. It’s a complex landscape and you’ll need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator. You’ll solve cross-cutting problems and use your experience of delivery to get the job done. Day-to-day you will be working with experts in engineering, business process design, user research, user experience design and policy development. You’ll join a thriving community of practice, where you'll share best practice, insight and support with a bunch of other talented, expert Agile Delivery Managers. This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. Salary Information £44,447 - £46,547 Existing Civil Servants who secure a new role on lateral transfer will maintain their current salary.
