Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials. You will be trained to perform a full range of logistic tasks such as loading and unloading luxury products for sale. Moving products into storage areas and checking products to ensure that they comply to the Company's quality standards. A full training programme will be delivered over a 12 month period, This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform picking and packing of products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Specialist handling of marble objects.
* Load and unload goods from lorries, using appropriate materials handling techniques.
* Perform daily equipment checks and Pre-use checks to comply with Health & Safety
* Fulfill and complete all procedural requirements and paperwork·
* Conduct stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
* Utilise forklifts safely for the movement of heavy items within the warehouse.
* Assist in building pallets and preparing items for dispatch.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling techniques is required.
* A valid forklift licence is desirable but can be obtained upon employment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
