What You'll Be Doing Classroom Management: Supporting the teacher by keeping students on task and managing disruption. 1:1 Intervention: Stepping in to support a student who is having a difficult day or needs a "break-out" session from the main lesson. Pastoral Support: Working in the school's "Inclusion Hub" or "Isolation Unit" to mentor students and de-escalate potential conflicts. Building Rapport: Using your youth work experience to connect with "hard-to-reach" learners and keep their day on track. Who We're Looking For The "Relatable" Professional: You can talk to a 15-year-old on their level while maintaining clear boundaries and authority. Relevant Experience: Backgrounds in Youth Clubs, Sports Coaching, PRUs, Social Work, or Residential Care are highly valued. Reliability: Schools in Blackpool rely on our staff to be a steady presence. You should be punctual and ready to hit the ground running.
