We're now looking for a Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
* Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
* Using ConnectTMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resource to planning deadlines
* Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Previous transport planning experience is essential, ideally working with FMCG customers
* Possesses a strong understanding of Driver Regulations and the Working Time Directive
* Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills with a logical, analytical approach
* Communicates effectively with strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
