You will be working at Field House, a service that provides a Level 2 mental health inpatient rehabilitation service that provides care and treatment for women who have an identified mental health rehabilitation need. This includes people who may also have a learning disability, who have a diagnosis of autism or personality disorder. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and CPD at Field House, where you will have continuous access to a range of training opportunities to move your career forward.
Reporting to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of strategic and clinical strategies to grow and further develop the care pathway through specialist psychological advice and consultations.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead and oversee the specialised psychological programme and the transdisciplinary team where you will provide supervision and training to your peers to ensure they understand the concepts and principles underpinning the framework and the specialised skills required to work successfully within this service model.
You will have experience and knowledge in carrying a designated caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment within neurological care services.
Field House, Chesterfield Road, Shirland, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7DT. You will be working in an eight‑bed specialist rehabilitation service for women with a mental illness and/or personality disorder. The service offers a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women. It is a specialist service for women with a mental illness and/or personality disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. The service focuses on psychological input and provides specialist, evidence‑based interventions including Trauma‑focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion‑Focused Therapy (CFT). There is significant staff expertise in early life trauma and attachment disorder.
