The Role: We're looking for a Clinical Engagement Officer to join our People Function and play a central role in supporting the daytoday experience of our employed clinicians across the Group. This is a highly interactive and operational role acting as the primary point of contact for clinicians on all nonclinical matters. You'll take ownership of clinician queries, work crossfunctionally with teams such as Scheduling, Finance, Payroll, and Operations, and ensure questions are resolved efficiently and professionally. If you're organised, proactive, great with people, and comfortable coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, this role offers the opportunity to directly influence clinician experience, operational effectiveness, and service delivery at scale. What You'll Be Doing: Clinician Engagement & Relationship Management Acting as the main point of contact for employed clinicians for all nonclinical queries Building strong, supportive, and professional relationships Providing clear guidance on operational processes, systems, and service requirements Operational Coordination & Accountability Taking endtoend ownership of clinician queries Working closely with Scheduling, Finance, Payroll, and Operations teams Following up on outstanding issues and ensuring timely responses Escalating or prioritising issues that impact delivery or clinician experience Ensuring transparent communication between clinicians and internal teams Workforce Support Supporting clinicians with queries relating to pay, scheduling, invoicing, or system access Coordinating with internal departments to resolve workforce-related operational challenges Keeping clinicians updated with progress and outcomes Issue Resolution & Escalation Investigating and resolving operational issues affecting clinicians or services Escalating complex or recurring issues to the Workforce Manager or relevant leaders Ensuring high-priority issues are addressed promptly Clinician Experience & Continuous Improvement Championing a positive clinician experience from an operational standpoint Identifying recurring issues and supporting process improvements Providing insights to support planning, retention, and service delivery Operational Oversight & Reporting Keeping accurate records of clinician queries and actions Monitoring trends to identify systemic issues Supporting consistent application of operational processes across the workforce What We're Looking For: Essential Experience in operations, workforce coordination, or stakeholder-facing roles Experience working with clinicians or healthcare professionals Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, problemsolving, and organisational skills A proactive, solutionfocused mindset Desirable Experience supporting contractor or flexible workforces Understanding of healthcare operations, scheduling systems, or payroll processes Previous experience in private healthcare or NHS-aligned services Why Join Us: A central role supporting a growing clinical workforce across a rapidly scaling healthcare organisation The opportunity to work crossfunctionally and influence clinician experience and operational performance A chance to contribute directly to improved patient access and service delivery Supportive team, opportunities for development, and meaningful impact across the Group
