In this exciting role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to create delicious, beautifully presented dishes that consistently wow our guests. Take ownership of your kitchen section, prepare food to order, and ensure every plate meets our high standards for quality, speed, and consistency.
What You Will Be Doing...
* Leading a kitchen section while mentoring junior team members and preparing dishes according to company specifications.
* Maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene throughout service, ensuring a thorough end-of-shift clean.
* Monitoring and recording food temperatures in line with company processes.
* Completing food prep before and during service, and restocking your section as needed.
* Maximizing profit margins through accurate portion control, minimal waste, and consistent dish quality.
* Receiving and storing deliveries correctly, following stock rotation and food safety guidelines.
* Communicating clearly and professionally with the kitchen team to support smooth service.
* Adhering to all health & safety standards, including allergen policies and hygiene procedures.
* Carrying out deep-clean tasks as requested by the Head Chef.
About You...
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and stay organized during busy service periods.
* A genuine passion for producing high-quality food that enhances the guest experience.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
* A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or equivalent).
