On behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MOD), we are seeking a Facilities Manager inside IR35 for an 11‑month contract based in Corsham, working three days a week with occasional travel to Hawthorn, Colerne and Oakhanger.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Establishment (HOE) of UK MOD obligations, ensuring delivery of the strategic real estate portfolio plan and providing operational, project management, and tactical FM services.
* Ensure all FM plans and activities reflect wider strategic priorities.
* Submit and monitor Statements of Need for work required on site and track progress.
* Support the HOE in maintaining security regulations and maintaining good working relationships with the MDP and Site Security Contractor.
* Maintain all Health & Safety documentation and policy for the Head of Establishment and Site partners.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Facility Management experience in both soft and hard FM.
* Experience with Health & Safety knowledge and/or IOSH.
* Previous knowledge in Defence, Assurance, Governance.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
* NEBOSH accreditation.
* Experience with DIO.
* Planning Application Process experience.
* Knowledge of JSPs (375, 440 and 850).
SC Clearance is an essential requirement. Candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo checks and may require an active clearance for this short‑term role.
This role can only be worked within the UK and cannot be performed overseas.
