Finance Manager – Systems & Process Lead
£650-£700 per day Inside IR35/Umbrella only)
Hybrid (3 days office-based)
Contract: 3-6 months
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to lead systems and process improvements within a finance transformation environment. This role will drive enhancements across FP&A and wider Record-to-Report processes, supporting the adoption and optimisation of a cloud-based Oracle EPM/EPBCS solution and reducing reliance on manual tools.
You will work closely with finance, technology, and delivery teams to shape and implement a multi-year roadmap that improves planning, forecasting, reporting and control frameworks, enabling automation and smarter decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system and process transformation within the Record-to-Report and FP&A space
* Act as subject matter expert for Oracle EPM/EPBCS (or similar platforms such as Hyperion)
* Drive continuous improvements, reducing spreadsheet dependency and increasing automation
* Collaborate with finance and technology stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements
* Maintain process documentation, controls and governance standards
* Support change management, stakeholder communication and project delivery activities
Essential Requirements
* System transformation experience within FP&A or related finance functions
* Strong project leadership and stakeholder communication skills
* Experience with Oracle EPM/EPBCS or comparable ERP/EPM systems (e.g., Hyperion)
* Qualified finance professional
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and influence senior stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience with additional Oracle EPM modules (e.g., EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, ARCS)
* Consulting or Big 4 background
