Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled FLT Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various equipment.
Duties
* Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
* Load and unload materials from vehicles, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a warehouse management system.
* Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic repairs as necessary.
* Assist in the organisation of warehouse inventory, including shipping and receiving tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. FLT Counterbalance essential.
* Proficient in materials handling and capable of performing heavy lifting tasks.
* Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping are essential.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
