We are looking for a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Co-ordinator to lead and develop our gymnastics programme at GL1 Leisure Centre. This is a hands-on leadership role combining coaching, programme development and team management.
You will oversee the day to day operation of our gymnastics provision, manage and support a team of coaches and ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and engaging sessions for gymnasts of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, supervise and mentor a team of gymnastics coaches
2. Plan, deliver and oversee high quality recreational and competitive gymnastics sessions
3. Create a safe, inclusive and progressive training environment
4. Monitor gymnast development and provide constructive feedback
5. Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures are followed
6. Manage gymnastics administration including class schedules, coach rotas, attendance, re-enrolments and parent communication
7. Coordinate classes, events and competitions and liaise with third party hirers
8. Recruit, train and develop gymnastics coaches and support staff
9. Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development
10. Track KPIs and report on programme performance and growth
11. Work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership teams

Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)

Requirements
12. Level 2 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
13. Proven experience coaching recreational and or competitive gymnasts
14. Experience managing workloads and working in a leisure environment
15. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
16. Up to date Safeguarding, First Aid and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain
Desirable:
17. Level 3 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
18. Previous leadership or head coach experience
19. Programme management and staff management experience
20. Budget, invoicing or sales knowledge
21. Confident IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
