The Role
Our Marketing team is responsible for the entire strategic marketing program and end to end optimisation and governance of all marketing activities. They bring together the various elements required for marketing to ensure efficiency and effectiveness through people, process, data, channel and technology.
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant with direct mail or print marketing experience to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, deadlines, and managing logistics, with a focus on execution of offline campaigns such as letters, brochures, and mailers. You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality customer communications.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Channel Support:
* Assist in designing, planning, coordinating, and delivering direct mail campaigns including letters, forms, brochures.
* Support the digital team in designing and coordinating email and SMS marketing campaigns for multi-channel campaigns.
* Manage timelines, briefs, print specs, and version control across print & marketing materials.
* Coordinate internal approvals and cross-functional sign-offs for all outbound communications to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Supplier & Production Management
* Liaise with external suppliers including print partners and designers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of campaigns.
* Assist with print briefs, proofing, quality checks, and approval processes.
Creative & Content Support
* Work with designers to create, adapt or repurpose content for offline & digital comms.
* Maintain consistency with brand messaging while exploring creative layouts for testing.
Reporting & Performance
* Assist in tracking campaign results for offline activity (e.g., response rates, delivery metrics) and in reporting performance to stakeholders.
* Assist the digital team in conducting analysis and reporting using Google Analytics and other reporting software.
General Marketing Responsibilities
* Maintain a well-organised centralised content and asset library, along with best practice documentation for communications.
* Assist with website updates, social media posts, and internal communications where needed.
* Manage the checking & logging of supplier invoices, upkeep of licence logs, and monitoring of third-party services.
* Help coordinate events, meeting logistics, and administrative support for the marketing team.
* Assist with various ad-hoc marketing duties as directed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings creativity, energy, and a practical understanding of direct mail marketing. The ideal person will be comfortable working across multiple projects, coordinating with both internal teams and suppliers, and ensuring that campaign materials are delivered to high standards and on time.
Skills & Experience
* At least 1 year of marketing experience, ideally within direct mail, print, or offline campaign environments.
* A qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
* Experience managing or supporting print-based marketing campaigns.
* Excellent communication, organisational. and project coordination skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools (Canva, Affinity Software, Google Analytics and email broadcast platforms).
* Experience liaising with external suppliers is highly desirable.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
* Creative thinking and problem solving abilities.
