Business Development Manager - Air and Sea Freight
Location: Essex
Salary: up to £60,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance/Company Car
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Manage your Own Diary
My client is offering an excellent package to help expand their Air and Sea Freight Forwarding operations across the UK. The ideal candidate will be a proven, established salesperson with a strong track record in UK-based Freight Forwarding or Shipping Lines. You'll have the skills, knowledge, and contacts to win and grow accounts, with particular experience in Air and Ocean Freight solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing clients, offering tailored Air and Sea Freight forwarding services.
* Generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and current customers to secure new business at a profitable margin.
* Drive company growth by promoting and expanding both Air and Ocean Freight services to new and existing clients.
Requirements
* Proven Sales / Business Development Management experience within Freight Forwarding is essential.
* Background working for a Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line.
* Strong knowledge and experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight Forwarding is essential.
* Previous operational experience within Air or Ocean Freight is desirable but not required.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
