Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out repair and maintenance of chillers, freezers, and A/C units.
* Perform mechanical and electrical work on refrigerant systems.
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
* Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems safely.
* Attend reactive service calls and perform preventative maintenance.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
* F-Gas certification.
* Strong experience as a refrigeration, freezer, or A/C technician.
* Knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Leadership abilities and practical problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of ventilation installation.
* Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
