Science Teacher
Location: Easingwold
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join a secondary school near Easingwold, delivering engaging and practical science education.

This school places strong emphasis on investigation, enquiry and practical science learning. Learners are encouraged to develop curiosity, analytical skills and real-world scientific understanding through a well-resourced and supportive science curriculum.
Science Teacher Responsibilities
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4
• Plan practical experiments and theoretical lessons
• Monitor and assess progress regularly
• Prepare pupils for public examinations
• Promote science literacy and opportunities beyond the classroom
Requirements
• QTS in Science or a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching secondary Science
• Confidence in laboratory and practical work
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
