Long-term Teachers are currently supporting a Primary School in Newton Abbot. The school is looking to employ a Teacher who can work on a part-time basis for the remainder of the academic year. The position has the potential to be extended into the new academic year from September.
This school provides a challenging but rewarding environment for children to learn and develop confidence both personally and academically. The school aims to support and develop its staff as well as its students, encouraging staff to bring out and utilise their strengths.
The Role
This large school is offering a part-time opportunity to start ASAP. You will work as a Year 4 Class Teacher three days a week, with some flexibility on the days.
They are seeking a candidate with experience and knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and keen to help students thrive. You will collaborate with other Class Teachers to deliver outstanding lessons.
You will be expected to:
* Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.
* Assess children’s development and communicate clearly with your partner teacher.
* Work closely with other KS2 Class Teachers on planning and assessment.
* Collaborate with the class Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
* Build relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
