We are looking for graduates for our Energy Transition team, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Working as a Graduate in Energy Transition will mean working on exciting and innovative projects across the UK as well as overseas in various specialist services including Low Carbon to Renewable Energy.
Our Energy Transition team delivers multi‑disciplinary services to clients that together as a project portfolio deliver a net zero future. We support the full range of power generating assets from conventional generation which is vital to provide base and peaking capability to renewable generating assets such as wind and solar.
Our involvement ranges from feasibility studies and providing advice on technical, financial, emission and environmental issues, to engineering design, process modelling and construction management. We also provide long‑term operational management support services.
Day‑to‑day activities could include:
* Projects including design, delivery, client engagement and stakeholder management.
* Winning work by contributing to proposals building an understanding of business development and commercial considerations.
* Other initiatives driven by the service lines that have a direct influence on growth.
Project Types
Our teams work on some significant assignments, and you will be helping deliver projects such as:
* Green Hydrogen generation plant design, for example PEM based hydrogen production
* New CCGT plants being designed and installed around the world
* Upgrades and modifications to existing gas networks
* Pipeline routing studies for large distribution networks
* Design of onshore wind turbine foundations
* Design of structures on an innovative energy generation project in USA
* Inspection work on existing electrical sub‑stations in the UK
* Design and review of new solar PV and battery storage projects in the UK and overseas
Graduate Development Programme
Our two‑year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programme includes core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions. This requirement applies to all candidates. Successful completion of this stage is mandatory. Candidates who pass this initial stage will then be required to complete an online skill enabler assessment. Both the application form and the skill enabler assessment are essential parts of the early career’s recruitment process.

* In this team, you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with colleagues and adapting to dynamic project environments.
* You’ll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
* You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a Master’s degree (Electrical or Civil Engineering).
